Getting ready for SANTA!!!

My pictures for some reason are not in the order I wanted them in. Here we are getting all ready for Santa. We started out by making our Christmas Cookies. The kids love to decorate the cookies they want to leave Santa. Kassie decided to write Santa another letter and Hayden wanted to leave him a dollar. I guess he was tipping Santa. So that night before bed we sat his plate of cookies and cup of milk by the tree. I had found the cutest plate and cup at Kohl's that said (cookies for SANTA).

Usually Rocky sleeps with us, but for some reason that night he didn't want to go to bed. A few minutes later I could here something in the living room. Well I new then why he didn't want to go to bed. He ate SANTA'S cookies. Thank goodness we made extra.

Christmas Eve Night

Each year we always go to my Aunt Teresa and Uncle Jr's house Christmas Eve night. We have done this since I was a little girl. The kids look forward to it every year. We always have so much fun, just getting to see everyone and talk and eat. The food is always so good. After the kids open their gifts the men play their yearly Poker game. Thanks for being such great host. We look forward to your party every year.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we got to spend some time with Aubrey's mom. We usually have a family get together with his mom's brothers, but for some reason we didn't this year. Ruthann and the kids she has got custody of came over and we exchanged gifts. I got to play Santa and had out the gifts, I love watching them open their gifts and just seeing how excited they get.

Kassie and Hayden have passed of OT. Don't get me wrong it's great that they don't have to go to OT anymore, but we will miss Mrs.Karyn dearly. She is like a second Mom to them. We know that they would not be were they are today if it wasn't for her. Kassie and Hayden was born at 25 weeks, they spent 3 months in ETCH. They had some problems when they came home, so that's when Karyn came into the picture. She has been with them since they was 3 months old. We are so lucky that Kassie and Hayden don't really have any problems. Most babies that are born that early do. We have been through alot with them since they was born and now that they will not be getting OT anymore its like closing a chapter in our life's. I can't really explain it, I guess it is just realizing that my BABIES are growing up and doing very well. The only problem is that they are a little delayed in school, which is expected since they was born at 25 weeks. The doctor told us that they would be about 2 years behind and would eventually catch up. I just want to thank Karyn for all her hard work. She has always treated my kids like they was her own. I truly think it takes someone very special to work with kids that have problems. I could go on and on about everything that they have been through. Karyn will always have a special place in my heart and I thank God that my kids got to spend these past 6 years with her. Kassie and Hayden have learned so much from her.

Our first Christmas Party for the season started at school. The kids had a blast. Kassie and Hayden got to wear their PJ's to school that morning. With all three kids in school I was bouncing from room to room. For some reason I didn't get many pics of Kassie.

Looking Back

I was on my Uncle Ken's My Space page and found these pictures, so I saved them to my computer. I just love looking back on all these old pictures. It sure does make you wonder where time goes. I think I am about 3 or 4 in these pics and in February I will be 30. Thanks Uncle Ken for the pictures.

This is the house that my Mom grew up in.

This is my Uncle Mikey and me. He passed away when I was in high school. He had a Massive Heart attack at the age of 36. We miss him dearly.

Taylor's Social Studies Project

Taylor had to do a time line in Social Studies for extra credit. We like to be a little more creative than we have to be. You could use pictures if you wanted to, so of course we did. If you don't know already I LOVE PICTURES! As I was going through my pics, it was kinda sad. You just don't realize how fast your kids grow up till you look back on pictures or videos. It seems like yesterday that she was born, or should I say I remember it as if it was yesterday.
